LCD Soundsystem’s “Shut Up and Play the Hits” to be played at River Oaks Theatre

It’s been a year and 3 months since LCD Soundsystem put on their legendary final show in New York City at Madison Square Garden. Shut Up and Play the Hits chronicles James Murphy during the time both preceding and following the April 2nd performance, giving an intimate look at the man who started it all give it his last go. The film premiered at Sundance this past January and will be released nationwide, but just for one night. Go See Shut Up and Play the Hits Wednesday July 18th, 7 PM at River Oaks Theatre. Dancing is encouraged, but cell phone use is not.
