New Song: “Losing You” by Solange

Nearly four years after the stellar (and grossly underrated) Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dream, Solange is back with a new song titled “Losing You.” The Dev Hynes and Ariel Rechtshaid-produced track beautifully links a chaotic mix of samples and handclaps to Solange’s airy and bittersweet voice. While her previous album did perhaps delve too much into retro soul, this single is as fresh as anything from the wave of modern R&B we’ve had our eyes on (Miguel, Jessie Ware, etc.) making her forthcoming album one of the most anticipated records here at Coog Radio.
