First off, I’d like to give an enormous shout out to GEODIGITAL who helped CoogRadio acquire tickets to this concert. We couldn’t have covered this concert, much less blog about it without their help. So once again, thanks GEODIGITAL for giving us this opportunity to attend this event!

8:30 pm sharp, that’s when the crowd really began to flow into the line that was forming outside Warehouse Live to witness the crazy antics of Young Thug. Crazy enough, it took even longer for the esteemed rapper to show up. While waiting in the crowd, I felt the narrator from Spongebob voicing in my head, “3 eternities later” because that is literally how long it took for the actual headliner to show. In the meantime, some lesser known artists such as O-King and MadeFellaz performed in order to subdue the crowd until Young Thug came on.

They definitely turned the crowd up in anticipation of Young Thug’s appearance and gave us something to watch as the clock ticked down to midnight.

Finally, when Young Thug showed up, he had the stage completely filled with people. I’m not kidding at all. Upwards of at least, fifty or so of his friends and crew up with him as he began his hits “Lifestyle,” “Stoner,” and “About the Money.”

If the bajillion people who were not on stage wasn’t enough, Young Thug himself came down into the pit and was face to face with audience members in the very front row while rapping along to the beat of “Hookah.” It was a pleasant surprise to see him interact with his fans in an intimate distance like Young Thug did, even if the whole time he was just performing.

Then, once Young Thug came back onto stage, Trae Tha Truth appeared alongside him to rap “Try Me” and “Danny Glover.” The crowd went absolutely nuts since his appearance was not anticipated at all.
