Flashback Friday: The Alternative Phase

Written by on April 10, 2015

Last week, I made the 2000’s playlist that brought back the teen angst we all probably went through in high school but if you were anything like me that wasn’t the only phase you went through. My music taste from 8th grade until I graduated changed A LOT and now I’m just a mixture of pretty much everything out there. After my 16th birthday (around 9th grade) I got into more alternative music, I listened to 94.5 The Buzz religiously and dreamed of winning tickets to sold out Buzzfest every year.

So here’s a new playlist, from when I traded in my colored hair extensions for jet black hair, and the colorful hot topic tees for flannels and studded belts.

You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid – The Offspring (2008)

Bleed It Out – Linkin Park (2007)

Psycho – Puddle of Mudd (2007)

Dig – Incubus (2006)

Diary of Jane – Breaking Benjamin (2006)
