Hey all!  In case you missed it, last night “Wes and Way’s No Top 40” premiered the brand new single “Skeleton Face” by Amherst, MA surf garage outfit Sexy Girls.  The band consists of Alex Whitelaw (guitar, vocals), Adam Harz-vi (bass), Blake Stone (guitar), and Steve Kerr (drums; he’s hiding in the above photo).  The song is off of their upcoming EP “Kicking Gravestones”, which is scheduled for release digitally on April 17th.  “Skeleton Face” makes excellent use of reverb and tempo shifts, lulling you at first with its laid back guitar melody during the verses, then kicking things up during the choruses; a melancholy dirge with fits of macabre joy.
