The cover to the “M3LL155X” EP

FKA twigs has finally dropped her long-awaited EP. At first thought to be titled EP3, but finally announced as being titled as M3LL155X.

The announcement came with a 16-minute-long music video for four out of the five songs on the EP (“Figure 8,” “i’m your doll,” “in time,” and  “glass & patron”). An excerpt from “mothercreep” is included as a prelude to “glass & patron,” so I guess, technically, all five songs are included in this music video.

The EP was crafted back in November of last year while twigs was on tour and features collaborations with bandmates Tic and Cy An along with new collaborations with BOOTS, who announced back in November that he was working and producing the EP with twigs while on tour. Twigs confirmed in the past that the EP had been finished since November and was working on the music videos in order for the release to be ready. The wait was worth it, as it shows a new level of creativity in twigs’ music videos and sound that pushes her 14 steps further to being a musical legend.

The new EP is now ready to stream on Spotify and Apple Music, up for digital purchase on iTunes, and coming soon on 12″ vinyl over at Young Turks’ site.
