Day For Night Lineup Announced

Some of the many musicians and artists for Day For Night

If you haven’t heard, there’s a new music festival coming to Houston. Now I know what all of you are thinking, “Is Houston trying to get on the same level as Austin and have 2 major music festivals a year?” That is possibly a reason for this, but it is also a push for tourism, which Houston has been trying to overall increase. With all the other thoughts aside, the lineup of musicians and artists are pretty sick, so I would definitely say that it is going to be well worth it to go!

Musicians such as Kendrick Lamar, Dillon Francis, New Order, and many more, will be teamed up with astounding digital artists. This out-of-season music festival is in another spectrum compared to other music festivals, such as ACL, FPSF, and Coachella. The working of musicians and artists will provide an amazing experience for everyone attending.

Now there aren’t that many music festivals that occur in winter, but this really caught my attention because most music festivals happen spring through fall. This could make for a more pleasant experience for many Houstonians that will be attending (as well as others from around the country.) Imagine, you can actually pull your friends and other concert goers closer while enjoying the music, as opposed to dreading the idea of someone being 5 feet from you while you are sweating enough to fill up the entire gulf!

Day for Night will be happening on December 19th-20th at Silver Street Studios. Tickets start at $185 for both days filled with music and art. This is an event you won’t want to miss!
