Oh Pep!, a folk/pop band from Australia, opened the show for this fun filled night and set the mood just right with their melodic harmonies and soothing strings. Next, was the love child of Stevie Nicks and Courtney Love, Little Screams. Nothing was little about this artist’s vocals, and gave the audience a late night pick me up. On the side stage was Basia Bulat, another performer at the Parish’s showcase, twirling to Little Scream’s tunes while wearing a sequin poncho. She gave a chilling performance filled with multiple instruments and a wide range of vocals.

The laidback vibes soon changed when Thao & The Get Down Stay Down approached for their soundcheck. Thao gave a quick scream into the mic that turned many heads, and recorded the sound bit into her pedal machine. Kudos to The Parish for shining a light on women in the music industry!
