If you like your music with a little melody and a lot of soul your going to love Vooddää.

A rising singer from Durham, North Carolina residing in San Antonio, Texas Vooddää’s guitar playing will make you turn up the volume.

Vooddää released Black Light on January 22, of 2016. Which can also be found on her SC or Twitter.
You can find her as “Vōöddää” all across social media.

Vooddää uses her soulful words and lovely voice to depict beautiful pictures. Acting in many musicals from childhood to high school Vooddää has really come into her own self and voice. Everyday is a new day for this talented artist. With her conscious lyrics and independent attitude I predict Vooddää going in the independent route and taking over.

Vooddää is an artist of many shades. Open for any kind of music, and being able to transform into any character has always been a gift of hers. So yes “whatever you want” she said when I asked her how to describe her sound.

Her musical influences include Emily King, Erykah Badu, and Nina Simone and the genres she is most influenced by are shaped around Motown artists, reggae, as well as heavy hip-hop. Her music itself is phenomenal; reminding me of ’90s Soul storytelling by Anita Baker & India Airie.

What really makes Vooddää fascinating is her intense topics that many wouldn’t use; yet illustrates them in a fashion that’s beautiful and speaks to the soul. Her song “Blacklight” is definently on repeat on my phone. Go listen to it…you’ll thank me later. ]

Vooddää is a part of a dope new music collective out of North Carolina called the “NewAge” ( NΞWΛGΞૐ ).
