I already know what you’re thinking, “Whoa! Who are these My Chemical Romance wannabes?” As you were told as a child, never judge a book by its cover. If you like music that makes you want to punch a hole in the nearest wall, these guys are right up your alley.

Old Wounds are a band hailing from the New Jersey hardcore scene. They have been making waves through metal and hardcore the past year with the release of their second LP The Suffering Spirit. They bring a familiar sound, reminiscing that of early 2000s metalcore. They also bring elements of goth rock and alternative rock that makes them stand out.

Old Wounds got together in 2010 and released their debut LP From Where We Came Is Where We’ll Rest in 2013. They spent about a year living the DIY life and booking tour with bands such as Full of Hell and Vices.

In 2014, the band finally got signed to Good Fight Music, who has represented several hardcore legends, including The Chariot and Trapped Under Ice. They released an EP, Death Projection, a couple of years ago and their second LP last year with the label.

If you plan on getting rowdy, this is the band to see. They have an amazing stage presence that will make you want to get off your feet and wreak havoc. Be sure to catch them on the Full Sail University Stage and check out their sites below!
