The Maine are no strangers to the annual summer festival, The Vans Warped Tour, in fact this is their fifth year as a performing band on the line-up.

The alternative, pop-punk band from Tempe, AZ debuted on the scene back in 2007 with the release of the EP Stay Up, Get Down. The following year the band was signed to Fearless Records and recorded the EP The Way We Talk, which features an old fan-favorite of the same name. They would later release their unforgettable debut full-length, Can’t Stop Won’t Stop. The album would cement some of the classic tracks, “Everything I Ask For,” “Girls Do What They Want,” and “Into Your Arms,” all of which the band still performs to this day. They continued to gain momentum, even signing to a major record label to record their sophomore album Black & White (2010) with producer Howard Benson via Warner Bros., giving the music scene another infamous hit called “Inside of You.”

However, The Maine is most notable for staying true to themselves and they proved it in 2011 by leaving the high change demands of a major record label by self-producing and independently releasing their next record, Pioneer, via Action Theory Records. The quintet never slowed their pace as they toured every season, nonstop, and produced two more records Forever Halloween (2013) and the latest American Candy (2015).

This is a band whose music has the ability to capture the ears of new listeners and keep the old ones wanting more for years. Their music can almost be described as timeless – perfect for any season – not to mention best for road trip playlists. Another particular factor about the guys is that they never stop showing their undying gratitude for their fans.

They are never afraid to go back to their roots and be a part of a tour they once dreamed of being a part of so for them to accept to play Warped Tour again is a treat for a fan of any level of the band. They have shared the same stage with the likes of Good Charlotte, Augustana, Boys Like Girls, Never Shout Never in the past including fellow Warped Tour veterans and past tour mates Mayday Parade, who is also returning to the festival this year.

The once dubbed by fans ‘five fresh boys from Arizona’ will be on the entire duration of the tour and they plan to meet everyone who comes to their tent. Approaching their ninth year together, this is a band that holds a connection with their fans that is rare for any artist to hold that keeps them as a band strong. So, as long as fans keep showing up The Maine will always be there.
