Two years after their album, Language and Perspective, Bad Suns is back with two singles, a brand new album, and a massive headliner U.S. tour.

Their debut album left us with a want for more, and now finally have what we wanted, 13 new songs that seem like they won’t disappoint their old fans and will draw in new ones. While their first album had more of an 80’s rock sound, this one is coming back with a pop-rock fusion, starting with their first single “Disappear Here.” Just last week the track was released along with an extremely beautiful color schemed music video. When talking about the single, the frontman Christo Bowman said: “We wanted to capture the emotion of a crossroads in life being suddenly interrupted by the ground collapsing beneath your feet.”

Then, the next single “Heartbreaker” was released, and for those who are familiar with Bad Suns’ work, it will be a relief. The sound that made the band with the first album is back. “Heartbreaker” sounds more along the line of tracks from Language & Perspective like “Salt,” “Cardiac Arrest” and “We Move Like The Ocean,” which were the top selling singles off their first album. It also seems that just like The 1975, the band is changing the aesthetics of their covers and videos, going for a softer yet more vintage look.

After the album drops in just a few weeks on September 16th,  the band will immediately go on their promotional tour, stopping in Texas to play in Houston and Dallas during November. If there’s one thing to look forward to besides Labor Day weekend it’s Bad Sun’s new album.
