Day for Night Artist Spotlight: Run The Jewels

As solo artists Killer Mike and El-P tout impressive resumes, but together they make a pretty dynamic duo.

Run The Jewels released their first album in 2013, and though the project never penetrated the mainstream it received acclaim from Rolling Stone, Pitchfork and XXL.

The duo released their sophomore album, Run The Jewels 2, in 2014. The album peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard rap charts.

2016 has been a good year for Run The Jewels—the group hit the festival circuit hard while working on their third album—and it’s not over yet.

Run The Jewels will perform at this year’s Day for Night Music and Arts Festival. Day for Night will run December 16-18. Purchase passes here.
