Are y’all ready to get in{formation}?

Well, if you read the previous post about Deftones and how rumors were circling of the name of the album being Gore, you’ll know I thought it was a ruse. What led me to believe this was that lead singer Chino Moreno made those awful graphics and tweeted them.

I never knew it would come to this. We all have that one musician or band that we are super dedicated to. You stumbled across them and immediately felt a connection to their music. You spend days binge-listening to their songs in your room, on the way to class and everywhere else. You tell all […]

December brings Christmas carols, ugly sweaters and here in Houston the cool “chill” of 60 degree weather. Christmas came early for me this year. I did not receive lavish gifts of frankincense and myrrh, no no. Daryl Palumbo was the ultimate Kris Kringle this holiday season.

Doing our best to keep you updated on who to look out for, this week we bring you Cemetery Sun! An alternative rock group from Sacramento, California. Starting out not too long ago, the band has quickly grown a fan base in Northern, California, and is promoting their two singles out now.

The internet is an endless vortex that can easily suck you in, and before you know it, it’s 2 am and you’re looking at D.I.Y. videos on YouTube with no actual intentions of going through with any of the projects. It was one of those nights when I decided I needed to step up my music game. […]

Not many people know about Mizan’s music or have even heard of the Ethiopian singer before. Try to google her and you’ll sadly come up short with only a few sources that are actually related to her. Even though Mizan has been writing music since she was a kid, she’s still kinda new to the music […]

If you like getting lost into the world of synth-heavy, funky beats, and trippy visuals, look no further because Neon Indian is going to be one of the main headliners for Fun Fun Fun Fest.

On October 16th, up-and-coming multi-genre artist Raury dropped his album, All We Need. With features including Wu Tang’s RZA and Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, you can immediately tell the mix throughout just by looking at the track list.

In a touching “Kanye-inspired” tribute to his friends, family,  and current “Family Matters” tour, Chance The Rapper gives us a taste of what happens backstage in his new video, “Family Matters.”

Ultimately stemming from the wonderful world of YouTube with her acoustic covers, who knew Alessia Cara’s ramblings of being an assumed “anti-social pessimist” would turn out to be one of the most popular songs of the summer!? Well it is … and it won’t stop there. For this 19-year-old, it’s only the beginning! Here are […]
