Dream pop band Alvvays is hitting the stage at Austin City Limits this year. The Canadian pop band formed in 2011 and have been shredding U.S. charts ever since their self-titled debut album release back in 2014. Their newest, and second studio album, Antisocialites just came out only a year ago in September of 2017. The group consists […]

Little Dark Age is a cohesive blend of experimental synth-pop and psychedelia that has displayed MGMT’s evolving sound impeccably. Their work has elevated since their debut album Oracular Spectacular and yet, the record ironically has the continuity of a 70s/80s influence throughout the album.   Nearly the entire album consists of synthesized upbeat indie pop […]

Elohim, a mysterious and new face in electro-pop, is an exciting artist from L.A. who began her music career from a humble place. Being a shy, quiet young girl who had a passion for playing the piano, this passion grew into a talent for remixing and producing music. She began working with other young and […]

Starting a career at 15 can’t be easy by any means (I’m 23 and I’m still struggling) and for someone who is now 25, a decade later, Sky Ferreira is still producing music but is now doing it her way. Ferreira it seems has always been destined for music seeing as how her grandmother was […]

Clover the Girl is a Dallas native that graces our ears with a perfect combination of grit and pop, giving us these ballads of emotion and truth with sick, head-bouncing beats. She draws inspiration from the likes of Twenty One Pilots and Halsey. Both of whom, I would argue, would readily give an approving nod […]

Three years since her last album ARTPOP, Lady Gaga has finally returned to the pop music sphere with a 14-track album filled with stripped vocals, mixed genres and amazing collaborations featuring Beck and Florence Welch.

Behold a luminescent spectral blast from the past! Electronic Austin-city-trio, Resonant Frequency, “brings 60’s soul, 70’s funk and disco” with a taste of “80’s pop and 90’s hip-hop” all infused into anthemic dance medley.

Everything is put out on the dance floor, as southern California’s alternative-indie rockers, Young the Giant, release their newest album, Home of the Strange (2016). An album with a glossy and ethereal sound that stimulates the ear with infectious melodies and innovative production elements.

Fitz and the Tantrums is the self-titled third studio album from the indie pop group Fitz and the Tantrums. While the band ambitiously messes with its sound, the sound itself might not be for everyone – including past fans.
