Phantogram Lights Up Bayou Music Center

On Friday, December 19th, New York-based electronic rock duo Phantogram brought life to the Bayou Music Center stage with their bright light effects and high energy for a full hour and a half set. Their performance was part of 94.5 The Buzz’s ‘BuzzFestivus’ concert series. Opening acts included native Houston band VerseCity, Twin Atlantic from Scotland, and Bad Suns from the sunny state of California. Each act brought their own personal vibe to each set, creating a great melting pot of rock music for the night. However, once Phantogram stepped foot on stage beginning the show with their new album’s hit song “Black Out Days”, the audience went wild for more electronic vibes from the duo. Personally, I do not listen to a lot of alternative rock in my spare time but after experiencing the duo perform live, I can definitely say I am a fan of their music.
