St Vincent and Grimes to Premiere Exclusive Tracks for Newest Season of HBO’s “Girls”

Written by on January 20, 2015

The Lena Dunham brain-child “Girls” has always garnered attention for the hip and eclectic music choices used on the show. Well, for this season, that continues with exclusive NEW tracks from indie-pop darlings St. Vincent and Grimes. The St. Vincent track is titled “Teen Talk” and the Grimes track is a collaboration with Bleachers frontman (and Lena Dunham’s significant other) Jack Antonoff titled “Entropy.” Both artist had developmental years in 2014; St. Vincent released her most critical and commercially successful album to date and Grimes released and DELETED all her new work but did release the popular single and music video “GO!” that showed a new direction for her musically. With this in mind, these new tracks could be the preview for where they might be going next!

If you haven’t heard or seen “GO!” the video is below and so are two tracks that St. Vincent released for a special edition 7 inch for Record Store Day that are her newest tracks which will also be added to the deluxe edition of her self-titled album that’s being re-released later this spring.
