Valentine’s Day Survival Playlist: Singled Out

Written by on February 14, 2015

It’s Valentine’s Day! You know, sometimes there are just too many negative feelings associated with being single and it tends to get worse around Valentine’s Day (Single Awareness Day, anyone?). When you’ve never been in a relationship, you get exhausted from being constantly reminded of it. How about when your parents get after you for not settling down or all of your friends have plans except you?  I know it gets hard especially around this time of year.

The best part of music is when someone’s lyrics speaks directly to your heart. I’m convinced that the following songs were based on my life story, but I’m not the only one! These go out to all my single ladies (and gentlemen)!

Natasha Bedingfield “Single”

Tori Kelly “Dear No One”

Hunter Hayes ft. Jason Mraz “Everybody’s Got Somebody But Me”

Pentatonix “Valentine”

Breakups can be bitter and waiting for someone to sweep you off of your feet can be a struggle…but it’s also important to celebrate being happy and loving yourself first!

Have no worries! Right now, there is someone..somewhere…wondering what it’s like to meet someone like you! Here’s two of my favorite love songs I’m dedicating to all of you! I hope you all have a lovely day!

Travis Garland “Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself)”

Matt White “Love”
