Shlohmo already has a good start to 2015 with a tour and a new album. This hip-hop influenced electronic musician from Los Angeles makes beats that are grimy and organic; you can’t help but get lost in a dream state when listening to him. Shlohmo has also collaborated with Jeremih, making sensual songs to chill to on a quiet night. Earlier in the year, Shlohmo released singles from the new album “Dark Red”, set to release April 7, 2015, showing he was taking his music to a whole another level. Singles “Buried” and “Emerge From Smoke” have a darker sound of impending doom, with ’80s style electronic sounds, giving light to the upcoming album and new direction his music is taking. Now on his North American tour, Shlohmo will be coming to Houston this weekend to play a live band set with Purple, which only makes the experience even better.

If you love electronic music that is deep, complex yet chill, and is out of this world, check him out and go see him live! You don’t want to miss out on his live band performance!

Event will be Saturday, April 4, 2015 @ Fitzgerald’s (2706 White Oak Drive): get your tickets here!
