Tyler, The Creator’s New Album “Cherry Bomb” Set To Release Next Monday

Written by on April 10, 2015

2015 must be a magic year for hip hop releases… and long album titles. Drake’s surprise mixtape “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late,” Earl’s album “I Don’t Like Sh*t, I Don’t Go Outside,” and Kendrick Lamar’s “To Pimp A Butterfly” have all been released this year and now Tyler The Creator has finally announced a release date for his new album, “Cherry Bomb.”

The announcement came along with the launch of Tyler’s own Golf Media app (which is free! YAY!) that includes music and content from Tyler himself. Tyler even went as far to giving devoted fans 2 tracks available (F*CKING YOUNG / PERFECT and DEATHCAMP) to download if they pre-order his album now. “Cherry Bomb” will include many other artists such as Charlie Wilson, Toro Y Moi, Cole Alexander, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Kali Uchis, Schoolboy Q, Pharrell, and more. I don’t know about y’all but this list of featured artists has me internally screaming inside and imploding with excitement (figuratively of course).

This past Thursday Tyler also released a music video for “F*CKING YOUNG / PERFECT” as well as a short snippet of “DEATHCAMP” on the OFWGKTA YouTube channel. Watch the video below.

Currently, Tyler is set to perform in Coachella this Saturday BUT he will be on tour this spring so plan accordingly if you want to see him perform his new album!

He will be in Texas the following dates:

“Cherry Bomb” is set to be released April 13th, just next Monday. Excited, nervous, or really don’t care at all? Let us know in the comments below!
