The 1975 Release New Video for UGH!

Written by on December 21, 2015

The year is quickly coming an end, but it appears that the British band, The 1975, are only preparing for 2016. The 1975 have been teasing their fans for months with enigmatic tweets and neon pink Instagram updates for their sophomore album I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It, but the teasing came to an end with the release of their first single and music video for “Love Me.” The 1975 followed up “Love Me” with the release of their music video for “UGH!”

The video directed by Adam Powell features the band performing the catchy ’80s-esque song in a neon lit space, while front man, Matty Healy, busts out his best “hotline bling” dance moves. Clearly the British quartet have traded their black and white aesthetic for a more colorful one and a pop friendly sound.

I Like It When You Sleep… is due February 26 and is available for pre-order on iTunes.
