f3145543-1f73-4e6c-b4d4-4a247475cd6fAfter his last album GO:OD AM, it was pretty impossible to guess where Mac Miller would take his talents next. With albums and mixtapes such as Watching Movies with the Sound Off, Faces, K.I.D.S., and many others, it’s pretty hard to top such an extensive discography.

However, four days ago when Mac Miller sent out this tweet below, it was clear we were going to be given something real soon.

Thursday comes and BOOM! Mac gives us a collaboration that none of us knew we even wanted or needed – Miller & Anderson .Paak.

It is a song unlike anything I’ve heard from Mac before. Everyone knows he’s been able to rap ever since he started his career, he pleasantly surprised listeners with his slow jam serenades like in “Objects In The Mirror,” hell even his trippy, psychedelic-influenced music was well produced and showed an intriguing side of Mac. However, Mac impresses his listeners once again by taking on this track which claims its grooviness in the first five seconds.

Listen to Mac Miller’s new song, “Dang! (feat. Anderson .Paak) below!

As if it wasn’t enough to have a brand new song, Mac also announced a new album, Divine Feminine, coming September 16. Not much else is known about the album other than it’s cover art, the new song with .Paak, some of the tour dates announced for Mac’s new album, and a few of the other featured artists confirmed by Zane Lowe that will be on Mac’s new upcoming album.

Even though summer is ending soon and school starts up in less than a month, at least we all have a new Mac Miller album to look forward to jamming soon.
