Lady Gaga Brings Spectacle to Super Bowl

Written by on February 6, 2017

Lady Gaga raised the roof (literally) on Sunday night when she performed for the millions watching Super Bowl 51.

Many wondered what the outrageous Lady Gaga would do for her Pepsi Zero Sugar Super Bowl LI Halftime Show… and she did not disappoint. Starting from the roof of the NRG Stadium, Gaga braced winds and heights to sing “This Land Is Your Land” as hundreds of Intel drones decorated the sky behind her in red and blue lights, swirling into formation as the American flag.

Gaga preceded to then jump from the NRG roof and land onto a punk rock stage decorated with crazed outfits, spouting flames and eager fans below her. Gaga effortlessly started to sing her classic hits such as “Poker Face,” “Born This Way,” “Telephone” and “Just Dance.” The singer then sat down on the piano and showcased her piano skills as she sang her latest country-infused single “Million Reasons” from her Joanne album.

And before she wrapped up her time on the Super Bowl Halftime stage, Gaga ended it with “Bad Romance” before jumping off a catwalk and catching a glitter football as explosions roared over the sky above NRG Stadium.

Lady Gaga’s antics immediately brought about a stream of memes and reactions from users on Twitter. Here are some of the best ones.
