In a time where trap is on the rise, EDM is in full force and hip-hop got its second breath, Carnage is taking over the scene. Carnage, producer/Dj/rapper/human being, grew up in Maryland and not being able to find a music presence to find inspiration from, he turned to the internet. Now, Carnage has produced songs that are annihilating the game.

Dj CARNAGE started producing in 9th grade by using free loops and creating simple beats. In 2011, when Carnage was 20, he was slowly getting into the scene. His friendship with Kreayshawn led them to making a song together, yet feeling like it was missing something, Kreayshawn sent it to another up-and-coming artist – Theophilus London. What resulted was a track – “SHRIMP Pt 2” – that was talked about everywhere in the hip-hop scene.

In October 2015 he released his first studio album Papi Gordo, which was received very well, making it to #1 in the Dance/Electronic and the Heatseekers sections. And with good reason too. The gritty feel is amplified by the lyrics of Carnage’s homie rappers like Rick Ross, Migos, OG Maco, Lil Uzi Vert and A$AP Ferg, to name a few. The beats he throws on the tracks are vibrant and nasty, which create a dope atmosphere for dancing in a crowd.

Today, Carnage is well established within the trap scene producing plenty with and for the likes of A$AP Ferg, Theophilus London, Hardwell, Borgore, Waka Flocka and Lil Yatchy. Being influenced by hardstyle, he loves the EDM culture and leans on it for bigger creativity advancement. As an artist, he’s looking to constantly evolve his sound and push the envelope all in the time he is scaring the bleep out of everyone by the awesomeness that are his tracks (check em out on SoundCloud – link below).

Carnage has stuck to himself and what he likes to do despite facing haters and rumors. While he doesn’t create raw sounds, his sampling is powerful in creating a sound that screams Carnage and is so killer he has performed at music festivals like Tomorrowland in Belgium and Ultra in Miami.

Next weekend (Oct.28-29), he’s swinging by Mala Luna Music Festival in San Antonio to give the crowd orgasmic sounds. I think it’s time for a road trip. Buy your tickets here.
