Curated by Josh Applebee, David Garcia and Mark C. Austin, Canned Acoustica is a concert series in Houston dedicated to giving back. Rather than pay the usual cover charge, show goers are asked to bring just 4 canned goods to be donated to the Houston Food Bank and in return are treated to one of the best nights for live music in Houston.
Houston’s own are given the challenge of reimagining their songs using only acoustic instruments, relying solely on their skill as musicians and their creativity as artists to deliver a great performance. With previous performers including Robert Ellis, The Ton Tons, Nick Gaitan, and our own Fat Tony, Canned Acoustica VI looks to live up to the respectable CA roster with performances by:
