Broken Bell’s New Album: After the Disco

Broken Bells, the Brian Burton (Danger Mouse) and James Mercer (The Shins guitarist and vocalist) duo, has released a new album entitled “After the Disco” and it’s right up my musical alley. Their sound is a bit different than from their previous 2010 album, “Broken Bells”, but still retains certain elements that make them honestly unique. The last time I heard of Broken Bells was either my last year of high school or my freshman year at UH but I’m glad they released this new one. As you may have known, I’m pretty much into the disco sound and this song has a pretty modernized one mixed with a subtle pop tone. I’m honestly impressed and although these are the first two song I have heard, I’m sure I’ll fall for the entire album. It’s something noteworthy to check out.
