Album Review: All We Need by Raury

Written by on October 19, 2015

On October 16th, up-and-coming multi-genre artist Raury dropped his album, All We Need. With features including Wu Tang’s RZA and Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, you can immediately tell the mix throughout just by looking at the track list.

From the get go, you hear the mix of genres. Throughout the album, you hear his mix of folk, alternative, electronic, and rap. He speaks messages of peace, love, and happiness (which can be seen if one carefully looks at the album’s artwork). He shows his growth over the past year after dropping his Indigo Child EP in 2014. His lyrics definitely send out relatable messages that make this album that much better.

Definitely one of the newer album releases that is worth listening to. I’ve enjoyed listening to it personally, even on repeat, which is personally hard for me to do in general. I look forward to more music by him and listening to him grow as an artist.

Listen to All We Need here.
