The ones with a peculiar name
No Rehearsal, Houston Indie band, will be featured this Wednesday on Coog Radio LIVE stream at 6 p.m. No Rehearsal is comprised of Matthew Cobb (singer/guitarist), Christian Mireles (bass), and David Shorey (drums).
They are critically acclaimed and have performed at local venues such as House of Blues, Nightingale Room, notsuoH, and in the city of Austin for SXSW. Their sound has a solid indie-rock base with retro, textured tones mixed in with a medley of natural, pop vocals that imitates performers like John Mayer, Black Keys, and the 1975.
The band will perform a live set at 6 p.m. on the “Future Waves HTX” show which will be broadcast from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Make sure to tune in before and after performance for commentary with the band and exclusive playlists arranged by DJ VENUS & JAZZ MASTA JAY.
