Written by on May 24, 2024

TDE’s very own Isaiah Rashad released his debut project Cilvia Demo and has embarked on a 10th anniversary tour across the states with support from Ray Vaughn and Yakiyn.

The openers of the night Yakiyn and Ray Vaughn were captivating and made sure to set off the tour on the right foot. They had amazing crowd control and had them engaging with their songs even if they did not know the lyrics. These two artists shined in their light, but both did a great job of warming up the crowd.

Next on stage was Chattanooga’s own Isaiah Rashad. He is on this tour to celebrate his acclaimed debut album Cilvia Demo. This album featured artists such as SZA, Jean Deaux, and Jay Rock. He began the night by playing “Webbie Flow” and “West Savanah”. Throughout the night you saw the longtime full of joy to hear these album cuts after years of its release. Rashad even passed the mic to a fan who was in the front row to help him rap “Modest” with him, she killed it.

Rashad made sure to also play some of his newer hits from his other albums The Sun’s Tirade and The House is Burning. Songs such as “RIP Young” and “Free Lunch” ignited the crowd to go bar for bar with him. A highlight of the night was when they played “Not Like Us” by his former label mate Kendrick Lamar, Houston went insane. It was great seeing Isaiah Rashad after a couple of years and seeing how much people still adore his first album. He in continuing his tour across the states, catch him if you can.
