On Thursday, July 16th, R&B superstar Chris Brown’s 11:11 tour made a stop at the Toyota Center. Following the release of his eleventh studio album, Brown set on a worldwide tour with Maeta and Muni Long, featuring a two-hour setlist with over forty songs spanning his entire discography.

The night begin with a phenomenal performance by the latest R&B sensation, Maeta. The artist recently released a new album Endless Night, performing many tracks off the album during the show including “DJ Got Me” and “Endless Night.” Muni Long kept the R&B vibes going with hits such as “Hrs & Hrs,” “Time Machine” and newly released single “Make Me Forget” showcasing her hypnotic vocals. By the end of her set, the audience was fully amped up for the main attraction, Chris Brown.

A sold out arena jumped to their feet as the LED screen behind the stage counted down to zero. A beam of light showcased Chris Brown rising from a platform as dancers wearing red-eyed masks surrounded the stage below him. Brown opened the set with “Angel Numbers / Ten Toes,” and the crowd went wild. The set was divided into four acts: Fire, Water, Air and Earth, with DJ Fresh keeping the audience hyped up between each act. The screen projected cinematic visuals of the acts that immersed the crowd in Brown’s world.

The first act featured songs such as “Heat,” “Go Girlfriend,” and “Summer Too Hot.” Surrounded by pyrotechnics, the artist bounced around the stage showcasing his iconic dance moves. As the first act came to a close, the singer descended the stage and DJ Fresh took over. Brown slowed it down with the Water act. Kicking things off with “Bruce Lee” and fan favorite “Only,” the singer was hoisted into the air on a harness and lifted to the other side of the venue with three of his dancers, performing the rest of this act on a rotating platform.

After a quick break, the artist entered the last act with songs such as “Autumn Leaves” and “Back to Sleep.” As “No Air” began to play, the artist invited the audience to sing along to one of his most popular love songs, sending the crowd on a thrill of nostalgia. Brown made his way backstage for one last outfit change before the final act.

With one last trick up his sleeve, Brown displayed a “Wheel of Fortune” style song selector for a unique experience to the show. Fan favorites “Poppin’,” followed by “Deuces” and “Say Goodbye.” The night was capped off with “Grass Ain’t Greener” and Breezy expressed his gratitude for the fans.
