Natalie Jane on her New EP, Upcoming Tour, and What’s to Come Next.

Written by on October 30, 2024

Last year, Coog Radio was able to chat one-on-one with Natalie Jane while she was on her Where Am I Again tour. On October 23rd, 2024, we got to do a little follow up with the singer and see what she’s been up to recently as she talked with us and her Twisted Tummy Club.

With a new EP out titled, Sick To My Stomach, and a world-tour named after the EP, Jane and her fans have a lot to be excited for. When asked about her approach to songwriting, Jane explained her process includes entering her sessions with a specific concept/ idea. She also listens to her previously released music to make sure she’s creating something sonically different. One thing the artist definitely succeeds in is her diverse blend of genres throughout her discography. On this EP specifically, she explained that there are sounds of straight pop but also some super soft songs and others having elements of the electronic genre. We asked her how she was able to create such a unique sound, while still remaining true to herself and she explained that vocals are what tie it all together. Her astonishing voice really stands out on the EP and her blend of genres allows her to appeal to many different audiences, the signs of a true artist.

In addition to the EP, Jane also has her world tour coming up. Stopping in America, Europe and Australia, many were inquisitive to see what fans could look forward to. One thing that is exciting for the tour is that each area is getting something new. In the past, her Europe shows included a big production with no drums. Now, they’ll be getting both. With America, she’s had shows with drums, but no big production… now, they get both. This will also be the singer’s first time in Australia, so her Australian audience will be getting a new experience all together. Another thing to look forward to is the merch. Because this is the closest thing the musician can have to her own clothing brand, for now, she explained that she has put extra thought and care into her tour designs. Not only will people get to go to the shows for a great experience, but they’ll get to take a piece of it home as well!

Natalie Jane is currently on fire, with no signs of stopping. It was incredibly exciting to hear the artist talk about her career and what’s to come for her. If you have the time, we’d definitely recommend checking her out. You can even purchase a few tickets to her shows while you’re at it here!
