On November 12th, 2024, the very talented Zach Templar and Frank Sativa stopped by White Oak Music Hall to give the city an amazing performance. Out of Templar’s ten-stop USA and Canada tour, Houston was lucky show number four.
The upstairs stage at White Oak filled up quickly as fans of all ages flocked to the venue. Kicking off the night was Frank Sativa, an alternative R&B singer with great energy. He played fan favorites such as “get back” and “THAT’S MY GIRL.” Sativa’s set was short, but sweet as he got the crowd dancing and warmed up for the headliner.
Last up was the main act, Zach Templar. Templar is an alternative singer from the UK, who has taken the music scene by storm as he continues to stun the world with his strong vocals and indie tunes. As soon as the singer walked out onto the stage, he was greeted by tons of love from the crowd.
Opening up with “crimson,” the performance started off incredibly electric, beginning things on a high note. The audience was sure to sing every word of not only this song, but all the songs following after. They were especially loud for “violet,” “april” and of course the viral hit, “missin something.” It was an intimate show that really seemed to connect Templar with the Houston crowd. The singer was also very interactive with audience, just adding to the experience for himself and his fans.
Overall, it was a great night that I am so glad I got to catch! The audience left the venue absolutely beaming from ear to ear. Keep up with Templar and what’s to come next for him on his Instagram: @zachtemplar.
