On Friday, February 28th, Role Model brought No Place Like Tour to the House of Blues in Houston. Fans filled the venue dressed in cowboy hats and boots, some even in t-shirts with phrases referencing his album: Kansas Anymore. From the beginning, you could tell it would be a great night for music.
The opener was Debbii Dawson, who commanded the stage with grace. The America’s Got Talent alum brought a unique blend of folk pop and heartfelt lyrics to the stage.

After an astounding opening set, it was Tucker’s time to take the stage. He opened with “Writing’s On The Wall.” Immediately as the first note sounded, fans screamed the lyrics: “Dad’s on the phone, and he’s lecturing me / ‘Bout a girl that he met back when he was nineteen.” The room filled with screams and chants from adoring fans.

Known for his charming humor and witty one-liners, Tucker introduced himself to the crowd as “The 1965,” a clever remark inspired by alt-rock band The 1975. Later in the set, he performed his rendition of “Somebody Else,” bringing his twist to the song. Tucker danced the night away with his high energy and infectious charisma. Towards the middle of his set, he surprised the fans with a performance of “The Longest Goodbye,” a track from his deluxe version of Kansas Anymore. Continuing with the mellow vibe, he performed “Frances” and “Some Protector.” To end the night on a high note, he performed a fan favorite: “Sally, When The Wine Runs Out.” The room filled with fans shouting the bridge “Heard through the grapevine, she could be a diva!”. He closed the set with “Deeply Still In Love.” As he danced around the stage, he finally came to a stop for the last verse “I’m sorry but i’m deeply still in love…” he walked around and took a long sip of water, pausing as the fans waited in excitement, and let out the final notes “…in love with you Houston!”
