Local Concert Alert: A$AP Mob
Written by Kyle Moreau on October 18, 2017
After taking the hip-hop industry by storm with their Lords Never Worry mixtape in 2012, A$AP Mob has been a prevalent figure in rap with its members releasing one hit song after another. A$AP Mob was founded in 2006 out of Harlem in NYC and consists of members such as A$AP Ferg, A$AP Rocky, A$AP Twelvyy, A$AP Nast, A$AP Ant, and much more as the group has 14 total members. A$AP Mob as a collective has released two successful studio albums with Cozy Tapes Vol 1: Friends in late 2016 and Cozy Tapes Vol 2: Too Cozy in 2017.
The discography of the group expands far beyond these two albums with members such as A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg releasing solo projects that find their way into many mainstream hip-hop playlists. The chemistry between all of the artists in the collective makes their tracks even more special with each artist having the ability to play off one another. Songs such as “Crazy Brazy” and “Yamborghini High” are perfect examples of how these multiple artists can come together to create gritty hip-hop bangers and bring their New York-based sound to a larger audience. If you are a fan of gritty hip-hop, hard-hitting instrumentals, or simply find yourself having the time of your life at extremely energetic rap concerts; then make sure to buy tickets to see this powerhouse of a collective at White Oak Music Hall in Houston, Texas on Thursday, October 19th. Door will open at 5:30 pm
