Day for Night Artist Spotlight: G Jones

Written by on December 13, 2017

G Jones, an Electronic DJ and producer from Santa Cruz, has only been in the EDM scene for a few years but has definitely made a name for himself. He was one of the leading, underground DJs that helped give birth to the new wave of glitchy, dubby, trappy EDM originating from northern California that we love today. He has collaborated and produced with artists like Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, Zeds Dead, and more. He is often the unknown contributor to some of today’s biggest electronic hits.

His own work has also gained attention, with several albums out since 2013, 2 of which were released this year (Acid Disk and Visions), G Jones has been hard at work. With this, his artistry has grown and his live shows have gained attention as he’s becoming a more seasoned live DJ. Known for always bringing something different and playing fresh remixes, you won’t want to miss his intense bass at this year’s Day for Night Festival here in Houston. He’s a good fit for this festival’s modern themes, and adds to the exciting, cross-genre lineup the festival offers.

Warning: It might make you feel like your face is melting. Check out his Soundcloud below, and click here for more info about Day for Night and to buy passes.
