Throwback Thursday: Carolina Liar’s “Coming to Terms”

Yes. Carolina Liar. I know.

Let’s turn back time and revisit our girly high school days and think about how we appreciated and enjoyed this album for a moment. I remember back when it was released in 2008, I would listen to this album on repeat and foolishly (and oddly) let my soul-sista flag fly, though there really isn’t that much soul in comparison to obviously more soulful albums, but it was the most I ever exposed myself to back then, OK? OK.

Now that that’s settled, it’s funny that after all of these years and forgetting about this album, somehow, someway, it’s found a way to creep back into my life.
