Young Thug is Coming to Conquer H-Town at Warehouse Live
Written by Julia Ong on December 8, 2014
Known for his hype flows in “Lifestyle” and being a part of Rich Gang, Young Thug is finally getting around to giving Houston some love this December!
“Jeffrey Williams,” otherwise known by his persona “Young Thug,” first caught Gucci Mane’s attention with his first three installments of his mixtape I Came From Nothing which led this native Georgian to create his well-received mixtape called 1017 Thug. Then, from his fourth mixtape, Young Thug went on to invent another hit single, “Stoner.” Although his raps are not known to be very deep and thought provoking, his ability to conjure up radio hits after listening to a beat for no more than 10 minutes, is insane. His success has earned him collaborations with artists such as Kanye West, Birdman, and T.I. This interview with Rolling Stone in the link below goes into detail of how Young Thug started out and his personality behind the music.
