Rae’s Raves: JoJo, Ella Eyre, Pentatonix and More!
Written by Coog Radio on September 8, 2015
Sometimes I have more music than I know what to do with … and other times I’m lucky if I have more than one song in a playlist. That’s exactly what has happened the past few weeks … until now. Have no fear! I’m here to rave. Let’s get into it!
“When Love Hurts” – JoJo
When JoJo releases a new single, and in this case three singles at the same time (#tringle), it’s good day! After struggling with her past record label and finally being able to release new music, JoJo is back and it was well worth the wait.
“We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off” – Ella Eyre
It’s always important when musicians do your favorite songs justice. In this case, Ella Eyre came through with an AWESOME rendition of this classic hit.
“Can’t Sleep Love” – Pentatonix
At this point, it’s clear that I’m always impressed with anything and everything that Pentatonix does, and this is no different. They are constantly outdoing themselves and I’m glad they are being recognized for it. (Plus, I’m a big fan of the shared screen time they all get because they are all special.)
“Firefly” – Mura Masa ft. Nao
I’m a huge fan of the official audio of “Firefly,” but this piano session needs to be heard.
“Omen” – Disclosure ft. Sam Smith
Disclosure and Sam Smith will always be a good choice. I couldn’t tell you anything about this video the first time I watched it because I was too busy looking at how AMAZING Sam Smith looks. AMAZING. It’s been about a month later and I still can’t tell you anything about this video.
Last but not least, here are some of the jams I’ve had on replay for quite some time. Enjoy!
