FPSF Artist Spotlight: BØRNS

Written by on May 25, 2016

Blessed with luscious brown locks, the immensely talented and eccentric BØRNS is an act you definitely don’t want to miss at FPSF.

The 24 year old from Grand Haven, Michigan has always been involved in the arts. When he was 10, he was a professional magician who went by the name “Garrett the Great,” which is pretty amazing. In 2011, he was part of a TEDx Talk and he performed a few original songs on his ukulele.

BØRNS has quickly risened in the indie pop ranks since his 2014 debut EP, Candy. He released his critically acclaimed debut album, Dopamine (which I had the honor to review), last October and it is 40 minutes of pure indie pop heaven.

Check out BØRNS at FPSF Sunday at 2:10 p.m. on the Saturn stage. You don’t want to miss him!
