Bryson Tiller rocks the stage for two nights in Houston

The Kentucky legend Bryson Tiller released his self-titled album back in April and is now touring across the states with supporting act DJ Nitrane.

Tiller had two nights at the 713 Music Hall with both being packed from the barricade to the back. The city has always shown love to him throughout his career with some songs having a Houston-like sound.

DJ Nitrane warmed up the night with a great set. He played songs from “Love Sosa” by Chief Keef to “Snooze” by SZA. “Where my ladies at night” he asked as the crowd roared back to him. He kept the vibes going with his hour-long set with songs by Houston artists like Travis Scott and Don Toliver.

Finally, the man of the night came out in an LED costume-like outfit. The LED lights were on his arms and felt like a video game-inspired look. Tiller started his set strongly with hits like “Sorry Not Sorry” and “Run Me Dry”. The crowd chanted every word back to him during these songs. In the night he mainly played songs from TRAPSOUL and ANNIVERSARY albums.

Tiller continued his set by playing songs from his project Bryson Tiller. He told the crowd “I promise I won’t play too much from this album, but I have to do a couple”, as he transitioned into “Ciao!” and “Persuasion”. He then made a quick outfit change into a lab coat and played some of his most popular features. “Shout out to Summer Walker and H.E.R for calling me up to these features”, Tiller said once he sang “Could’ve Been” and “Playing Games”. The Houston ladies sang these songs to the top of their lungs.

To end his second night in Houston Tiller ended his set with classics like “Don’t” and “Right My Wrongs” which he brought out his daughter to sing the outro. The crowd gave her a warm reception and he thanked the crowd for that. For the encore, he performed his recent viral hit “Whatever She Wants” with a black ski mask, and the crowd who stayed to see it went nuts.

Bryson Tiller is finishing up his tour in a couple more states, so make sure to catch a show if you can!
