Austin City Limits is Back… And We Can’t Get Enough of This Lineup

From October 4th-6th and October 11th-13th, the Austin City Limits festival will be held in Zilker Park in Austin, Tx. Every year the festival stuns music-lovers everywhere with their amazing line up, and we are happy to report that this year is no different.

Here are some artists I’m looking forward to seeing at ACL 2024!

Friday

The Marías

The Marías are no strangers to ACL and I can’t wait for their return. This latin-indie band has continued to be a powerhouse in their music genre, and will stand out every time with their chill tunes with a killer edge.

Royel Otis [W2]

Australian duo, Royel Otis, has been all the craze recently for not only their viral cover of “Linger” by The Cranberries or “Murder on the Dance Floor” by Sophie Elis-Baxter, but also for their amazing music. With hits like “Sofa King” and “Oysters in My Pocket,” it’s no secret that their set is definitely one to catch.

Foster The people

One of my favorite things about ACL is its continuous love to older bands in the indie genre. Last year, Portugal. The Man was at the festival to give an amazing performance and this year Foster The People will undoubtedly do the same.

Saturday

Jungle

Jungle is a British house band that has taken over the dance community with their incredible music videos. Best known for “Back On 74,” and following the release of their newest album, Volcano, I can’t wait to see how the band performs live.

Still Woozy [W1]

Still Woozy recently stepped back into the music scene with an incredibly strong release of his album, Loveseat. Around the time of release, the singer announced a U.S. tour with no Texas dates. However, it was soon revealed that ACL would bring him back to the lone star state. I got to see him back in 2022 and have carried the memory of his amazing show ever since.

Khruangbin

It’s always exciting to see some Houston representation on the lineup of festivals. This year, there is a very special band from Houston amongst the headliners: Khruangbin. They are extremely well known for their incredible musical talents and their fun instrumentals. You can’t be from Texas without knowing the infamous Texas Sun, and you can’t go to ACL without catching Khruangbin.

Sunday

Malcolm Todd

Closing out the festival are some pretty amazing artists on Sundays October 6th and 13th. On these days, Austin City Limits has got some of the most highly anticipated artists on the bill. Starting strong is alternative R&B artist, Malcolm Todd. He skyrocketed in popularity online over the past two years, with an extremely successful U.S. tour earlier in the year.

Chappell Roan

Chappell Roan. Need we say more? This artist has absolutely blown up everywhere in the music world. Having many past festival performances under her belt, it is no secret that she will most definitely have one of the highest attendances out of the entire festival. After all, she is your favorite artist’s favorite artist.

Tyler, the Creator

Concluding the festival is Tyler, the Creator. With numerous chart toppers and an incredible stage presence, everyone can’t wait to see what the rapper will bring to ACL.
