RL Grime, also known by his previous stage name, Clockwork, is an American DJ and producer from Los Angeles. He makes hip-hop, trap, grime, and bass music. He has produced for artists Tory Lanez and Big Sean, and has worked with other electronic artists like What So Not and Skrillex. RL Grime started his career around 2011 as he began remixing and working with local Los Angeles electronic labels. Since then he has released several EP’s and singles, most known is his newest single “Stay For It” featuring Miguel.
His first studio album in 2013, High Beams, climbed the charts as #8 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic charts and #1 on iTunes when it debuted. He has also confirmed that his next album, Nova, will be released later this year. RL Grime has joined several EDM festival lineups and done small club shows all over the country in the past few years, gaining a strong and energetic fanbase, as well as a prominent presence in the DJ and Electronic music worlds.
