Hypnotizing Houston with their Gothic Charm by Illuminating the City’s Darkwave Scene

On October 30th, 2025, the crowd at Warehouse Live was captivated by French Police’s sound as they started the show with the song “ESLABON” from their 2025 EP ESPERA. The set list featured a total of twenty-one songs, including hits like “Club De Vampiros” and “HUNNY”. Known for their blend of Spanish and English lyricism, they bring their cultural roots to the stage. On the top left is the vocalist and guitarist, Brian Flores. On the top right is the lead guitarist, Manny Herrera. Finally, on the bottom is the bassist, Rolando Donjuan.

You might recognize them from their viral song “Vampiro,” released back in their 2021 album Haunted Castle (Extended Play), which has received over twenty million streams on Spotify. Fans in Houston were thrilled to hear the song “Vampiro” played live. The audience knew the lyrics word for word from beginning to end. French Police is redefining and reviving the post-punk dark wave music scene as we know it.
