New Track: “I Only F**ked You As a Joke”

Seattle based band, Childbirth, released a new album, it’s a girl, on January 7, 2014 with one track catching my attention.
The all girl band, with Julia Shapiro in charge of vocals, takes a refreshingly cool spin on the punk elements in their funny songs. The lyrics in itself, “I don’t want to be your girlfriend, I don’t want to be your friend, I only f**ked you as a joke”, are catchy for the female audience that would most likely be the only group to gravitate towards Childbirth’s songs.

The rest of the album is definitely worth checking out with other songs giving a humorous stance on one night stands, lesbianism, and feminism.
