Superbowl XLIX Half Time Show Recap
Written by Coog Radio on February 2, 2015
Katy Perry definitely went all out for the Superbowl half time show this year! Her performance had a little bit of everything, including a mechanical lion, dancing sharks, and four different outfit changes in just twelve and a half minutes!
Katy Perry knows how to make an entrance! She came to her stage standing on a HUGE mechanical moving lion while singing her hit song ROAR.
LENNY KRAVITZ joined Katy on stage and did his rendition of her first single, “I Kissed A Girl,” bringing some rock and roll into her performance.
She followed with a trip to the beach with her song, “Teenage Dream” where her back up dancers consisted of dancing beach balls, surf boards and sharks!
Just then none other than MISSY ELLIOT joins the stage! Singing a medley of her songs “Get Your Freak On,” “Work It,” and “Lose Control.”
To top of the half time performance Katy was raised from the middle of the stage on a small platform while singing her hit “Firework.”
Now lets talk about her stage! During Super Bowl XLIX Show Press Conference, Perry mentioned that her performance would have a lot of graphics. She managed to turn her stage into a chess board for her “Dark Horse” performance, and into a beach stage for “California Girls.” Her performance was energetic, fun, and entertaining. Katy Perry did an amazing job with this halftime show!
