Ayanna Simpson

Ayanna is the current Web Director at Coog Radio. She is in charge of site content, managing the web team, and keeping the website running.

“Hi! I’m Ayanna, a soon-to-be graduated Journalism student, and also this year’s web director! I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, so classic Southern dishes and hot summers run through my veins. Post-grad, I hope to pursue a career in entertainment journalism. I am a huge lover of fashion (specifically, 60s, 70s, and 90s), so I spend a lot of my free time thrifting or upcycling my own clothes. A position like this aligns perfectly with my two favorite things, music and writing, so I am eager to be a part of this year’s officer board.”
