My 2024 Spring Playlist
Written by Nia Richardson on April 12, 2024
Now that spring has arrived, I wanted to share what songs I have been listening to on repeat! This playlist consists of some oldies but goodies and, importantly, that spring vibe! Songs that you can listen to as the sun is going down at 7 p.m.! I had to think about plenty of songs to choose from. I hope you all enjoy my picks.
Middle- DJ Snake ft. Bipolar Sunshine
The classic of 2015 has been in rotation in my playlist recently. It has always been a song I have enjoyed and has brought me nostalgia that I think everyone needs occasionally. It’s a song that brings you back to when life was easier!
Slow Grenade- Ellie Goulding ft. Lauv
Would it be a staff-pick article without me including an Ellie Goulding song? I unconsciously have a favorite Ellie Goulding song for every occasion and every season of the year! The catchy melody has been playing through my speakers at least once a day recently!
Soweto-Victony with Don Toliver, Rema & Tempoe
The afrobeat song I found through TikTok, and I have been obsessed with this song since I discovered it! Recently, I have been into Afrobeat music and would love to add more to my playlists!
Adventure of A Lifetime- Coldplay
One of the most popular Coldplay songs has been in rotation, which has kept my spirits up this spring! The nostalgic aura and power that a Coldplay song holds in my heart is unheard of.
You Don’t Go To Parties- 5 Seconds of Summer
When I attended the 5 Seconds of Summer concert last year, I heard this song for the first time and knew that I would love it during the spring and summer months! When it comes to spring and summer, I always have some of their songs playing on my car radio while I am driving.
Lady Killers II (Christoph Andersson Remix)- G-Eazy
Last but not least, I had to include the hottest song on TikTok right now! “Between Lady Killers II” and “Tumblr Girls,” you cannot escape hearing G-Eazy’s ten-year-old songs!
That will include my 2024 spring playlist! I hope you all enjoy the songs, give it a listen, and maybe add one to your playlist!
