Houston (band)

Despite the name, Houston is a band who (as far as we know) hasn’t even visited the Bayou City. In fact, we aren’t even sure they’ve ventured outside their native Sweden. Despite all this, we are sure of one thing: their sound is as diverse and multifaceted as it’s namesake. It could be described as one part hip-hop, one part ambient (as expected from our friends in the arctic), one part Swedish flow and one part angelic singing in English, plus songs that could be a mixture of a time-capsule from the 1990s (vapor wave?) and a soundtrack of some interstellar cryosleep voyage in 2090.
If this demo is any indication, this band has a bright future. If they ever came to town, we know they’d fit right in.
