With an opening riff reminiscent of Bowie’s China Girl, the nostalgia is interrupted when front woman, Zahira, with her lovely voice, chimes in with the song’s title, Gag Reflections. The Houstonians are gaining recognition quickly and there is a good reason why. They are currently on tour, starting today in Long Beach with four shows in California then returning to Texas for four more shows. Two of those shows will be in Houston! One show on January 31 at Cactus and the other on February 8th at Numbers for their album release party.
