Dan + Shay at House of Blues

Written by on March 14, 2015

Dan + Shay and Canaan Smith made a stop at the House of Blues on their first headliner, the Where It All Began tour (named after their first album). The boys played an electrifying set that included their famous mashup of Taio Cruz’ “Dynamite” and Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger,” a cover of Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” and a tribute to the great Brooks & Dunn along with their debut album in it’s entirety.

Every time Dan + Shay hit the stage everyone in the crowd is sure to have a good time, young and old. The boys are well known for their constant crowd interaction making everyone in the building feel the appreciation they have for the support that they have received in the short time of them being a group.

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Dan + Shay perform two times before this and they always put on a fun show that everyone enjoys. As I stated before, the guys are all about the crowd interaction by holding hands, making faces and engaging with all of the fans. After the show, anyone who has made a merchandise purchase got to attend a special meet & greet with the guys, which was a great opportunity to talk to them and see how sweet and appreciative they are for the fans support.

Dan + Shay were just nominated for an ACM award for New Artist of the Year, they’re up against the likes of Sam Hunt, Kip Moore, Tyler Farr, Cole Swindell, Brett Eldridge, Thomas Rhett and Chase Rice. You can vote for them here!
